Possible fix: 2020 erratum for BK node placer

I was looking through the bk node placer implementation, and saw some comments about overlapping nodes and layer-ordering violations. In case you haven’t seen it, there’s an erratum published in 2020 which may address these issues. This might provide a more robust solution than what’s currently used.
