provide function highlighting, code-completion and snippets

Is your feature request related to a problem? When typing functions there's no code completion and the function names are neither highlighted (to distinguish other words) nor "explained".

Describe the solution you'd like Ideally one would type function , then use auto-complete like [CTRL]+[SPACE], and the intrinsic functions are suggested along wit their description. When selecting a function it may be added with all its parameters to insert (may be even suggested from the context).
