Java bindings tracking issue

Since there has been a request relating to Java bindings on gitter, and since @J-Loudet has started working on this, I'm opening a tracking issue to redirect people towards when they ask about these.

To give a bit more context I am indeed exploring different alternatives.

At the moment I am looking at how to leverage uniffi to provide them in Kotlin — which would allow us to target Java / Android / iOS in one go.

I’ll update the issue once I have more news to share!
