Netedit context menu skewed off to left side of cursor

Open sean-reed opened this issue 1 year ago • 7 comments

The context menu in netedit that appears on right-click sometimes appears off to the left side of the mouse cursor preventing you from being able to select a menu item. It seems to only happen when using a high-resolution monitor (2560 by 1440 pixels) when the netedit window is either expanded to full screen or positioned so that part of it covers the left side of the screen.

Do you use only one monitor at the time or do you have multiple ones?

This is on a dual monitor setup (laptop screen + monitor).

Do you use scaling to enlarge the icons / windows?

No scaling

How reproducible/deterministic is this?

Happens every time on my setup but not tested on others.

I have tested this with different layouts for the extended desktop. When Screen 2 is positioned to the left or right of Screen 1 then it works fine, if Screen 2 is positioned below Screen 1, the context menu does not appear at all, and when Screen 2 is positioned above Screen 1 (my usual setup), the context menu appears in the wrong position when you right-click on the left side of the window. In all cases, I maximized the netedit window on Screen 2.
