oscillating speed when using speedFactorPremature
at the approach to a stop, the vehicle slows down too much (or at least the estimated arrivalDelay becomes positive), then the slowDown code isn't called anymore and the vehicle speeds up too much, this causes the arrivalDelay to become negative again causing oscillating speed.
appears to be more pronounced for carFollowModel="Rail"
The root problem comes from the estimation of arrivalDelay (here shown during normal driving without slowing down prematurely)
Maybe it is more pronounced for carFollowModel="Rail" since the acceleration is speed dependent?
