Open Strange-Satwik opened this issue 1 year ago • 0 comments

While using the on-screen keyboard feature on macOS(Sonoma version 14.4.1), a critical bug has been identified. while pressing the "Tab" key (to navigate between elements) Eclipse abruptly crashes and terminates.

Steps to reproduce the issue. 1. Enable the keyboard viewer in mac (using mac version of Version 14.4.1 (23E224)) i. opens the System Settings. ii. go to keyboard->Text Input->Input source->edit -> Enable (show input menu in menu bar) image iii. enable the keyboard from the top right and choose show keyboard viewer image iv. now you can see the on-screen keyboard.

  1. Open the eclipse i. Go to file ->open any new project (I’m taking maven project) image ii. It will give us the new project creation pop-up. Use tab to move the cursor (after 1-4 times) the eclipse will crash. iii.
