Distinction of "Device Notifications", "Connection Events", "Device Connection API"

When reading the documentation, there are a few pages that sound as if they describe similar things without explicitly explaining their relationship to each other. This concerns the pages "Device Notifications" (Concept), "Connection Events" (Concept) and "Device Connection API" (API). Maybe it's not just me that they sound confusingly similar. It may be sufficient to formulate a few sentences to differentiate terms from each other. But it can also be that somewhere a renaming makes sense.
