Reimplement Herd with Vert.x

Beyond providing a Ceylon API, which should be reason enough, moving Herd to a Vert.x based implementation would

1. Put Herd on a platform that was designed to scale.
2. Improve the quality of both projects as technical hurdles are surmounted.
3. Provide a living example of a Ceylon enterprise application, of considerable size, in production.

I do believe that further efforts invested into the current Play! based system will only make leaving that much harder.
