Improve Control Interface code

Description

The Control Interface is currently kind of a mess. We have the ControlInterface and the ControlInterfaceInfo objects which some strange relationships between them, where data needed for the creation of the former is taken attribute by attribute from the later.

Additionally the objects are not properly documented.

We should try merging the ..Info into the main object by starting the interface after the creation of the object. This should also be signaled properly somehow.
