Tardis monitors
New folder.zip Custom models for monitors.
- These would be alternatives to the control sign, which would serve the same purpose but look cooler.
- Could be implemented like rotors (item in a frame).
I don't think these would serve the same purpose, because there would be no way to show the data that currently gets sent to the control sign (Artron level, current location, preset etc). Plus the images for the monitors are squashed & distorted, and the file sizes are huge...
name the items the info, such as "artron : 200" or "destination : W X Y Z" "exterior : nether Fort: Etc.

Yup, that could work.
Ok! cool!
Plus the images for the monitors are squashed & distorted.
Iol i linked the wrong pack :P New folder.zip
Does that pack even work? Looks like the paths to the files are all wrong...
it does, but i pulled a stupid and made it wrong. here New folder.zip
Suggest you try it without any other packs installed...

- textures are in wrong folder, json specifies
block/monitor, files are initemfolder - json specifies monitor texture as
block/monitor, file name isMONITOR.png, animation file isMONITOR.PNG.mcmeta - json item models are not in a folder with the path
assets/minecraft/models/item - you have 3
custom_model_dataoverrides in wooden_sword.json, but they're all the same model - monitor texture image is still squashed and > 5MB in size
- animation has a really bad stutter as it loops
-
pack_formatneeds to be updated to6
Not that any of that really matters, because if this is implemented I'll be making my own models and textures...
ok! well, i fixed it (again -_-) 3rdTimeTheCharm.zip
any updates?
Going to re-look at this soon using the new Text Display entities
Superseded by new modeled console, but may look at other aspects of this in the future...
