Hi @smrchy I had a spare moment and updated my implementation to include the `ChangeMessageAttributes` implementation

I have raised this PR on losser to support python 3 https://github.com/ckan/losser/pull/14 I'm unsure if it will be accepted or not, but I was able to make this project work...

I would recommend just my fork for now as not much seems to be happening with regards to merging the other PR

Happy to update tests to support this change if there is some desire to have it contributed back in to core :)
