Definition class Publication Service
The class Publication Service is defined as: “a service by which a publishing organisation or person publishes its content and offers access to consumers.” In the class Publication Channel however, I see two restrictions referring to Service: • isOperatedBy only Publication Service • transports only Publication Service This duality seems to suggest that Publication Service can be interpreted in two different ways: • as the technical operator of the Publication Channel • and as the service that publishes content The label and description of the property isOperatedBy confirm that it refers to an operator or owner, not to a publisher. Is there a contradiction here, or am I misinterpreting it?
Thank you, @DBMaarten, for this question! We are planning to address these documentation issues immediately after the final release of v2.0. (However, I do agree that this is not purely a documentation issue. IMHO, for the class PublicationService we should focus on the publishing aspect and not on the access aspect. If this will be the result of our future discussion, then isOperatedBy might become obsolete.)
Thank you for this feedback, Jürgen. I'm looking forward to the outcome of the discussion.
