Involvement Type
Is there already something like an Involvement type concept subclass?
Am I right to assume that this would be a skos list including things like Actor, Presenter, Interviewer, Interviewee?
Or maybe rather verbs like Acting, Presenting, Interviewing, Being Interviewed... dunno.
Editorial Committee recommendation: Using a skos:conceptScheme is the right way. If you bring your own vocabulary, eg a role list, you can create a subclass of the skos:concept and use whatever list fits your use case. You may want to have a look at the EBU classification scheme as an example for creating a vocabulary. Link will follow.
I think I found the link:
http://www.ebu.ch/metadata/ontologies/skos/EBU_cs_skos_p.zip?_gl=11q5eu4g_gaOTk3MzE2NjYzLjE3MjY0NzI3MTE._ga_TVTB816MPW*MTczNDUwNzE3NC4xOS4xLjE3MzQ1MDcyMDAuMzQuMC4w
or are there still some changes planned?
Sorry, I forgot to post the link! You found it anyway :) Your link looked good, but didn't work for me. This one should point to the zip-archive of a long list of classification schemes: http://www.ebu.ch/metadata/ontologies/skos/EBU_cs_skos_p.zip A role list that can be used as a template or a basis for your extension can be found found in the file ebu_RoleCodeCS.rdf, contained in the zip-archive.
Update on the list of classification schemes: We now have a github project on those schemes: https://github.com/ebu/ebu_cs/tree/main/metadata/cs
And for the Involvement Types a list like this would be a reasonable point to start from: https://github.com/ebu/ebu_cs/tree/main/metadata/cs/ebu_RoleCodeCS.xml
Thanks @JuergenGrupp.
It seems that the skos files don't exist anymore (at least not on http://www.ebu.ch/metadata/ontologies/skos/EBU_cs_skos_p.zip)
The https://github.com/ebu/ebu_cs/tree/main/metadata/cs only contains xml versions..
Are the latest versions still available in skos somewhere?
