As a playout service provider, I want to consume a cued EBU-TT Live sequence from an EBU-TT Part 1 document .

Input: a single EBU-TT Part 1 document; cueing options. Output: a sequence of Part 3 documents released according to the cueing options.

Cueing options:

  • [ ] User-defined segmentation interval based on Part 1 timings
  • [ ] User-defined fixed offset in clock time

I'd make these coincident with the "issuing strategies" from the spec, and also add:

  • [ ] Segmentation based on when changes occur with a user-defined maximum period between documents, e.g. "if no change for 5 seconds issue a new document anyway".
