Disable & Enable BOOTP/DHCP function

I was thinkink about disable & enable BOOTP/DHCP function. This function is useful when you shutdown the device to avoid to loose its IP address. When IP address is set, you should be able to disable BOOTP (therefore switched to stored IP) to keep IP address if power supply is shut down. My question is: have you thought about this fonction as a specific command ? Thanks in advance for you reply. See you... Lionel.
