[BUG] - the new linux wrapper launch thing doesnt work
Describe the bug before 3.2.6 you had to put in different launch arguments to the steam executable but now this new linux thing just always launches vanilla and idk how to debug it
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- paste what r2modman tells you to paste into launch args in steam
- it wont launch modded
Expected behavior should launch with mods

yuh
am i doing something wrong?
Nah this is broken for me too, trying to open anything in linux with this version is broken
it seems the bash files for launching it apart from the linux wrapper one just dont exist lol but thats all what i can see
Not sure why, but r2modman as of 3.2.6(AppImage) will suggest to add a launch option to steam for the game in question, which in turn would run BepInEx's linux things.
The problem here being that r2modman is telling you to do this for titles which use proton in order to run, on top of the native titles that i think it's likely aimed for. Thus, for now at least, the solution to this problem - for me at least - is to ignore r2modman's suggestion of the launch option and remove said launch option applied to the game on steam, if it's ran via proton.
P.S. "Problems with Linux builds should be reported in the r2modman discord." - README of this github repository
i dont have access to discord, sorry

No worries there, just wanted to note that for future googlers whom may be inclined to create their own issue of similar things should the provided solution not work out for them.
Yeah, this is for native linux games.
When you open a games profile in r2modman. Click settings. Look for "Change launch behaviour".
From what i can tell auto is the default and currently does not work. Change it to proton and it will work like it originally did.
Yeah, this is for native linux games.
i wish it said that beforehand, thanks
