[BUG] - Bonelab still looks for wrong executable on Oculus version

Open Rick007110 opened this issue 2 years ago • 2 comments

Describe the bug

Looks like this isn't fixed on 3.1.42. It still asks for Steam executable and not the Oculus executable and gives the same error when I start BoneLab. I have copied the previous report I made so you won't have to search for it.

--- previous report ---

When you select "Oculus Store" for BoneLab and try to select the executable, you need to select BONELAB_Steam_Windows64 for some reason instead of BONELAB_Oculus_Windows64. This results in a error telling you to ensure that the game directory has been set correctly in the settings, which is impossible right now. Making people with Oculus unable to use r2mm for BoneLab.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Go to 'Bonelab' Click on 'Oculus Store' Click on 'Settings' Click on 'Locations' Click on 'Change BONELAB directory' Navigate to where the executable is You will see that it shows BONELAB_Steam_Windows64.exe instead of BONELAB_Oculus_Windows64.exe

Expected behavior

r2mm should be looking for the BONELAB_Oculus_Windows64.exe, not BONELAB_Steam_Windows64.exe

Can you resolve this by going to:

It should have always been a separate option from there. I appreciate that it's not the most obvious place to handle that though.

Apologies for the late response on this.
