Important to note the file is called `/etc/pulse/daemon.conf` not deamon.conf! Adding the default sample rate to the correct file now solved this permanently! (the post has now been corrected)

yes the docker compose file was added here https://github.com/Cockatrice/Cockatrice/pull/3887 but the wiki was not updated at the same time.

the latest commit looks substantially faster than before the machine had double cores, yet it seems like we don't have any windows builds completing successfully with the new core count...

have you tried the 2022 image as per https://github.com/Cockatrice/Cockatrice/issues/4923 ?
