[Feature request] Skip Files with "Hidden" Attribute

Open Genje5 opened this issue 3 years ago • 1 comments

Using the current 1.0.0 Windows x64 release

Most image viewers, including cross-platform ones such as XnViewMP, have the ability to "skip" over hidden image files when going to the next image. These hidden images are usually hidden for a reason, and users do not want to see them.

For example, if I have three images in a folder, like:

1.png 2.png (Hidden) 3.png

I would expect that the viewer would switch from 1.png to 3.png when selecting the next image.

I use hidden image files to generate folder thumbnails in file explorer, so I am seeing many duplicate images in a row with the current behavior.

Yes, it is a necessity & should be turned on by default.
