Optionally hide window title bar
qimgv is a very versatile and distinctly designed visual preview environment. In its current form, it is rendered according to its special UI narratives for visual previews.
On Gnome it looks like this:
While the window's title bar only holds the current path and the application title, the symbol bar contains a large portion of black space, which increases a lot on larger windows.
Imagine the title bar would be gone, and the path segment takes place in the noir space, wouldn't a little X also not fit in there, and have qimgv display itself in the most simple form possible? Omitting its own name would merely speak for its humble attitude to step into the background and leave space to the visuals.
:+1:
good idea, but proper implementation will be pain in the ass..
and it most certainly wont look native
on the plus side you could have a custom setup of buttons on the titlebar, maybe a zoom slider also..

I think not looking natively is a quality here.
You might take some inspiration from https://tauonmusicbox.rocks/, through which I got this idea.
