Unexpected white noise sound when playing MIDI file

Thanks for this project, it's really interesting. One can build a music player from almost nothing. I am using the "no dac" versions. I was able to play mp3 fine from a server. However, the midi example, adapted to "no dac", always has some whooshing white noise sound that plays together with every note. It's the same if I use Little FS. I have opened an issue in tinysoundfont, the same problem happens in linux armhf, however I think their solution doesn't apply to your esp8266 version.
