hiddenEmojis not working for "Frequently used"
When adding an emoji to the hiddenEmojis array (for example "26d4" ⛔), it will be removed from the emoji list, but will still be shown in frequently used (maybe also in recent - didn't test that).
This is not an issue. It shows in the frequently used list because it was used before as it is already in local storage. Assuming a user was exposed to the picker from now on, it will never show for them .

But why not hiding them? When people need to hide emojis later on for any reason, users would still be able to select emojis that should not be used. From my perspective, this is an issue.
Is there any solution for this? I think what @mbrammer is saying, when hiding an emoji from the list, it should also hide from the frequently used emojis.
You explained why it appears but it is stil an issue. If I am hiding it should not appear in frequently used @ealush
I think all of you are right. I published 4.12.4 which removes all of these from the suggested (both frequent and recent) list as well. Closing this one now.
