Play/Pause Buttons On Bluetooth Devices Not Handled

As an enjoyer of SomaFM-miniplayer I'd like it to play and pause when I click the play/pause buttons on my bluetooth devices so that I don't have to press play/pause on the SomaFM-miniplayer app.

This would mean I can play pause while walking around the house and not near my computer.

Are you talking about bluetooth audio devices with media controls (like AirPods) or something else? Do you have examples of the apps that are already integrated this way to test the behavior? Apple Music maybe?

Correct I have BT headphones with a physical button where a single click pause/play for my current media on my laptop. Works with Apple Music and even YouTube videos that are playing a browser on the YouTube web page.
