file can opened more than once
not a great problem, but edits get lost if duplicate will be closed

@pherk I've occasionally seen duplicate editor panes, but not in a long time, and I don't recall data loss problems from it. Can you provide steps to reproduce this phenomenon? If not, we'll close.
It is easy to reproduce.... I'll think how to do
I am still seeing the bug every other day especially if more than two
files are opened
but I have no idea to reproduce it. Dannes perhaps?
I have learned to avoid data loss by closing and reopening.

try the following:
- open a somewhat larger resource and open any other resource, so that there are two tabs available in eXide
- store the resource (see the popup notification: "storing ....xql")
- toggle tab (just move over to a different already loaded resource) BEFORE the popup notification "....xql stroed" appears
The the current tab will be renamed to the stored one, both are opened and storing one of the resource might overrides the other.
Thanks for the report. I’ve seen duplicated tabs before but hadn’t found a way to reproduce. I think I understand everything in the report except “toggle tab.” Could you please explain what you mean?
