sync behaving oddly

To reproduce

Install a .xar package modify it and then go to Application -> Synchronise

With a target directory on the local FS e.g /user/temp, no matter where the modification happend, a each collection gets also synced as an empty director

I can no longer get exide to do a full sync. On a side note from inside docker sync doesn't work at all.

In both cases download Application -> Download app works as expected

exist-db 4.4.0 macOS 10.14, and 10.13.6 Safari 12, Firefox 62.0.3
