Support Serial on Windows

  • Hardware description: Azure RTOS, PC2040
  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • Installation type: setup/chocolatey

Expected behavior

Serial attached devices are supported on Windows like they are on Linux

Actual behavior

Windows does not have a serial implemenation.

Linking to ROS2 on Windows bug - https://github.com/ms-iot/ROSOnWindows/issues/392 @ooeygui from Microsoft is working on an implementation on https://github.com/ms-iot/Micro-XRCE-DDS-Agent/tree/feature/serial_on_windows. Will PR into this repo when validated.
