Support for Azure Cloud Integration

Open xuhaodev opened this issue 2 months ago • 2 comments

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Currently, E2B does not provide native support for Azure cloud services. This limits teams and developers who rely on Azure for their cloud infrastructure from fully leveraging E2B's capabilities.

Describe the solution you'd like Implement native support for Azure within E2B, enabling users to seamlessly deploy, manage, and interact with Azure resources. This could include support for Azure authentication, resource provisioning, and integration with key Azure services (e.g., Azure VMs, Azure Functions, Azure Storage).

Describe alternatives you've considered

  • Using third-party connectors or middleware to bridge E2B and Azure, which introduces additional complexity and potential reliability issues.
  • Continuing to use E2B only with currently supported cloud providers, which is not ideal for teams standardized on Azure.

Additional context Azure is a major cloud platform and supporting it would expand E2B's adoption. Direct integration would benefit organizations operating in Microsoft-centric environments and help E2B remain competitive with other platforms that already support Azure.

Hi, we are currently considering building Azure support for our enterprise customers using BYOC (https://e2b.dev/docs/byoc). There is currently no ETA on the open source version because it requires more work.
