Download Icon - replace with message

I have roughly 50,000 downloads, all of them require that the user has an account in order to download. I would love it if the download button could be replaced with the message "You must login or create a free account to download".

Redefine the download button shortcode ({DOWNLOAD_VIEW_LINK} or {DOWNLOAD_MIRROR_LINK}) in your theme to do exactly that...
