Destination Folder Size is not Updated

Open pkmkrishnakumar-zz opened this issue 5 years ago • 4 comments

Steps to reproduce

  1. Navigated to flowupload app, added the destination folder either be external storage or folder created in nextcloud itself
  2. Files upload seemlessly
  3. When navigated to the uploaded folder, folders are uploaded with file size details, but the overall size of the destination folder is not updated. But if, i create a test text file in the destination folder, nextcloud detects its size but not the uploaded file.
  4. But if I rename the uploaded file, nextcloud detects the file size instantly

Expected behaviour

Once the file is uploaded via flowupload, files should be uploaded and the directory size also updated in nextcloud

Server configuration

Operating system: Ubuntu 18.04

Web server: Apache2

Database: MariaDB

PHP version: 7.4

Nextcloud version: (see Nextcloud admin page) 19.0.3

Updated from an older Nextcloud/ownCloud or fresh install: Yes (Upgraded)

I removed the home Directory message quite a long time ago in #90 . There has not been a release since then, so the current stable version does not include that patch, yet.

@e-alfred Can you create a new release ?

Please do not descibe multiple issues in the same issue. It's just not how issues work. :)

I edited the home directory message parts out of your issue text so we can focus on the folder size problem.

I fixed this the folder size issue in #73 , but it seems like it returned in Nextcloud 19.02 or 19.0.3.

I have this issue on my instance too, so it's not a problem with your instance. I don't think i ever had this problem in 19.0.0

If i have time i will look into fixing this again :)

I forgot about this one 😂. I don't currently have time for debugging this, but thanks for the reminder 👍
