AFAIK there's no mapping from native dependencies to haskell dependencies that is easily discoverable at the moment. (eg, haskell zlib needs ubuntu's zlibg1 or redhat's zlib package).
Even the hello_world example requires ppx_bonsai to build. ppx_bonsai looks like it's internal to this repo but the dune file is empty. Installing bonsai from a git pin gives you...
I'm also interested in calling elisp functions from shen. In my case org-mode code from shen-elisp.
