frei0r.curves - limited points

I'm using kdenlive, and running into a limitation with frei0r.curves.

I thought it was a problem with kdenlive - https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=442508

And I thought it was a problem with MLT - https://github.com/mltframework/mlt/issues/734

But it seems like the problem is with frei0r.

Trying now with kdenlive-25.08.3-x86_64.AppImage…

frei0r.bezier_curves - I can get get at least 12 points on the line.

frei0r.curves - I can get no more than 3 points per line.
