Link rate of fire spread to game speed
I have set daytime speed to be really slow, but fires still spread at vanilla speed.
The result is it looks like someone sprayed a forest with petrol and then threw in a lit match and whompff massive area bursts in to flames almost immediately.
Is there some way that the rate of fire spread can be linked to game speed? So a fire starting during day would spread more slowly, but at night it would be faster (due to me having faster speed set for night)?
I will look into that. Sounds meaningful.
There's an abandoned mod that changed rate of fire spread: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=814903880
Another abandoned mod reduces rate of spread when it's raining: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=629370088
As RT does some stuff relating to rain already (making cims go indoors) it could also nerf fire spread during rain?
This happened in a matter of seconds (whole town and surrounding area on fire), despite adjacent fire station and fire helipads both responding immediately.

The fire spreads so quick that services are overwhelmed and can't put it out.
Real Time doesn't change how fast the services work. So this is actually a vanilla game problem. Decreasing the fire spread rate would make the game less challenging, wouldn't it?
