Happiness impact of stuck traffic and overloaded public transport

Open dymanoid opened this issue 6 years ago • 3 comments

With #2, the citizens can cancel their trips if they cannot reach their destination within reasonable time due to traffic jam or overloaded public transport.

However, this has no additional impact on anything.

There should be a new option (deactivated by default) that causes the happiness level of such citizens to slowly drop (let's think they get angry and upset because of that traffic or public transport).

Sound pretty good. How long this happiness drop should last ? Until next attempt? One days, two? And by contrast, an optimised time travel should increase happiness. But what is an optimised time travel in others words, how to measure the shortest time to reach a destination?

Wow, i've found this topic just now, earlier today i did write a thread about the same argument:

I think it's a great idea and i think land value should decrease too, along with happiness. About what everybodyknows said in regard to increase happiness, there is no need since the malus is only for some days and it will decrease over time if you fix your problem.

i think the impact should at least be 3 days, so the weekend should not "fix" it..
