Is there any difference/advantage using this add-on vs common modbus integration via USB cable in HASS

Could you please provide some details or screenshots on how it works? Can't figure out should i use it instead of regular modbus integration in homeassistant i use with USB type-A to type-B connection. Screenshot 2023-11-25 at 01 37 28
