What's a good time of year for this? I'm guessing Summer->Autumn.

I'm in! Transgender railway fun!
The best times to travel on the Trans Siberian train are from April to September.
October tends to be the rainy season and November through to March is winter.

So @j2h is keen too.
RAILVENTURE
So, how much vodka can one carry or is it coming out of the train taps?
OK so I definitely want to do this next year. I am thinking that RubyKaigi would be a good excuse for wanting to get from Europe to Asia. Can easily do two weeks on the train and then fly to Tokyo.
Also he is known at @joshk on GitHub. ;)
Trans-siberian railway to ruby kaigi... sounds good to me. I would like to check out China briefly, too.
What rough dates are you guys thinking?
@joshk I am thinking if we want to do it over two weeks then we should do it from around May 10 to May 24, a couple of days in China and then flying to Tokyo.
I think I'm going to carry on to North Korea, then who knows from there.
who knows from there.
JAPAN!
