Release

Open PierreOlivierBrillant opened this issue 4 years ago • 5 comments

Hi!

I've noticed it's been a while since there's been an official release of pywal. Looking at the release page, there's been 128 commits since the last release. I'm sure most users would love to access the features those commit bring (for myself it would be recursive search), using the stable channels such as pip or any software repository.

While it sure is possible to compile, and quite easy with the installation guide, I believe making an official release would consolidate the accumulated features.

I second this, I would love to have access to the extended features of the new templates for wpgtk but I don't want my users to have to use -git version of pywal to use my "stable" package, it would be nice to have a new release soon.

pywal-git is now orphaned in the AUR as well.

I will make releases in the Winter (when I have ample time).
