Agreed, this was a first pass. A place to start.

:+1: I'm a fan of that policy. Given there were a few conversations had before this was committed to github, the readme is already longer than it initially should be as it includes answers to another of questions that were asked along the way.

I added the following (not discussed in detail verbally prior to GH) sections for clarification/context, which ended up being the most unnecessarily wordy and need most cutting down:

• Why
• Our values - partly to answer questions, partly because I think it's crucial
• Overview - this needs a big overhaul
• F&C Student Journey

I will edit this again tonight to bring the readme size down (until we need to add more information again).

The number of lines has increase because I've added semantic line-feeds to aid viewing/reading the Readme on a smaller screen. We need to set a goal to cut down the amount of text _or_ present it in a more readable format.

Agreed, we should be doing both :+1: It doesn't make for the most pleasant reading experience on big screens (hooray markdown preview!) but is necessary.
