Why be fully transparent?
https://tessel.io/blog/76637645290/transparency-keeping-an-open-company
Who's asking?
Seriously though - there is a difference between openness, honesty, and full transparency. And there's a difference between being transparent with your customers about e.g. problems with your product, and e.g. having public discussions about your pricing strategy.
I personally am not a fan of having every discussion in a public forum because I like the idea of being able to throw out ideas without having to stand by or defend them. In that sense, transparency is the enemy of openness and creativity because it leads to self-censorship. (You might be surprised to hear that from me, but still.)
