At the moment, notifications are not working. It would be good to have a method of informing users of new issues and other notifications.

This would ideally be via email but I understand this is not available in sandstorm yet. Could the sandstorm notification menu be used for this function?

ps. gitlab on sandstorm is awesome, we've started using it actively to manage a project and our team is loving it, thank you for the port!
