Multiple maps, each with a slider, interfering with each other

I have a time-series choropleth that works well with the plugin. However, I'd like to do two of these side-by-side on a website. But I keep getting error messages and can see the slider, but can't click on it/slide it. Is there some kind of trick to using this work multiple maps?
