Mostly I'm wondering about the pros and cons of adding the new "pipeline" term: can you say what the consideration are for that?
~@JoelPasvolsky --Considerations are that application "pipeline" was used by @randomir (internal thread) and in the PFG video. I think it is akin to "data pipeline". So, I think it is common parlance for this topic's audience, devops. What do you think?~
I removed pipeline.
Please rebase before we merge, the doctests should now be fixed on master.
