Glitchy hidden bar not working

Describe the bug

When I click the arrow, whats inside the hidden bar and the arrow doesn't get hidden, only the bar vanishes. Besides that, when I click the arrow, the date gets extended or simplified.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Just install from AppStore or Brew and open the app.

Expected behaviour

The apps inside the arrow and hidden bar get hidden and the date doesn't change.

I don't think I have the date issue (I'm using the short date already), but I do have the problem "hidden" ones not being hidden and the hidden bar itself disappearing

My date is disappearing as well when collapsed.

If you don't want your date to vanish, you can select to always show it in Mac preferences. Preferences => Dock & Menu Bar => Date Options: Show date "always" Wait a few seconds. Long date will appear and no longer toggle. Dock Menu Bar 2022-09-16 09-36-46

Having the same bug here on my end, hidden bar doesn't seem to do anytthing
