feature request: do not automatically hide icons from newly opened windows

This is a feature request.

When a new application has a menu bar icon, it is automatically hidden to the left of |. This makes it a little difficult to realize where the icon went, when installing/running new software.

Would it be possible to make this configurable so that new applications are not automatically hidden?

Previously, #67 was opened and closed rather abruptly.

Just want to second this request. I'm using BitBar (the predecessor to XBar), and when it refreshes, its menu items disappear into Hidden Bar.
