[FR]: Possibility to "create rows with different columns
It would be nice to have the possibility to create different rows with a different number of columns so you are more flexible in creating layouts. (Might be tricky with the drag and drop functionality though).
For example:
|-----|-----|-----| Row 1: 3 columns |--------|-------| Row 2: 2 columns |--------|-------| Row 3: 2 columns |-----|-----|-----| Row 4: 3 columns
Or maybe the possibility to add an empty card that you can position so that you can have 2 cards in a row where normally three cards would be.
I think a system like the android home screen system with the widget sizes would be perfect. Equal squares and you can move around your tiles how you want to.
Can you show me a photo of that?
Basically you have a grid and can define width/height and position of the elements. I would be an issue if an element changes size depending on state i think (like the default lovelace media player does)
I think if you create an empty (Dummy) card that can be placed anywhere you like, this would help greatly in getting exactly the layout that you want. If that empty card has properties for the number of rows and columns too, that would be awesome.
