You can both "Push" and "Pull" data to/from Google Sheets from within Roam.

2. Following the instructions to setup your own personal Google API. The instructions look daunting but once you get it setup it is easy and no further ongoing work. 99% of the battle is getting the API setup but I have very detailed instructions in the Roam page provided.

Reference and Push / Pull blocks in other sheets; not just the one named in the S2R Sheet GID: attribute block. Also can hide cell reference blocks in Roam from being Pushed or Pulled by collapsing parent blocks.

When using the Push SmartBlock, if a cell is a formula in Sheets, it will also Pull it back.
