Simplify the author list

Hey! I hope you are well! I really like this plugin!!!!!!

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. This issue is a suggestion for enhancement, not a bug

Describe the solution you'd like Is there any way to simplify the number of authors to paper's first author + et al. rather than syncing the complete author list? For example, if this paper has 10 authors, current syncing method will sync all 10 authors to Notion. However, I would suggest to sync first author + et al. for more simplified view.

Describe alternatives you've considered I'm happy to contribute if currently there is no solutions :)

Hi @CATESTEA, thanks for the request!

Currently there's no option in Notero to configure this. There was some related discussion in this thread. The only suggestion I have for now is to disable text wrapping for the Authors column in Notion.

Hi!

I just started using Notero and I absolutely love it. I agree it would be very useful to be able to choose which authors are shown. I don't have the chops to help implement this, but perhaps a simple solution would be to integrate Zotero Better Authors (https://github.com/github-young/zotero-better-authors#readme) which I currently use to show only the final/corresponding author in Zotero.
