If I went ahead and implemented https://github.com/dustingetz/react-cursor/issues/17, that would also fix your use case, right?

This is possibly related to https://github.com/hyperfiddle/hyperfiddle/issues/885 I am inside debounce trying to understand why the :value prop has been dissoced

If you compare contrib.ui/text to contrib.ui/long, the :long version ends up with :value ""

So options work out – they become autocompletes and its a floaty widget.

For now, our internal tools are gonna have the editor open and i dont care that much.
