How can I use simply the color schemes and not the sizing/padding/etc?

I've got a relatively complex UI that I need to keep open day/night and at night, jupyter themes really help but the problem is that the padding/font/etc makes the UI add ugly scrollbars.

Is there a way to use solely the color and not the layout changes?
