is hdboye's fork still working?

Since this repo here seems to be dead, but the fork that lasted longer (of @hdboye ) didnt have an issues tab active, i decided to ask here.

Does hdboye's fork is still active? I tried to run the example on that repository but it disconnect from the server even before some stranger is picked.
