It seems this previous issue got removed without any notion of its existence. Why? I'm seriously interested in what people are getting their hands dirty with this.

Any progress on this? This is must-have feature for general use of this cool piece of software (as PDF is the only format "accepted" by managers and lawyers).

I think both (sqlite & pg) would be useful despite each showing something different. A concurrency setup (i.e. on a machine with at least 4 CPUs/cores and an SSD disk)...

Just one thing I'd like to point out. The referenced blog post outlines solutions to some very painful problem Apple has with its UI libs. But Elementary actually **solves it**...

I read the whole elementary OS HIGs and there wasn't even one thing which would somehow prevent their use of **any** UI library I know of. So I'm really curious...

And if it's only about `granite`, then I say yes, it might be not fully compatible with the **current** state of V UI. But it's still full of very good...
